Real quick question about buying pro tools, i'm in a audio engineering class currently at a local tech college, i know I qaulify for the student discount but my parents want to buy it for me as a christmas present. im buying it straight from avid and i understand i send avid proof that IM in school, but my parents name is on the credit card that bought it and that wouldn't "line up" or would i have to just get the money and buy it in my name? kind of confusing my bad. . tried calling avid but didnt get an ansewer would like to get this weekend.

Ya never know, better to call avid.

Wait, even better, buy something else unless you will be using it with some of their HD systems.
