Here it is again!

The thread that gives people super flirting skills and conversational skills!(I lie)

To experience the thread's powers to the fullest, you have to vote on the song you like the most. Because Sean Connery told me it would work. Yesh.

The objective of this thread is to vote on the song you like the most, but remember: don't base your vote on the quality of the recording, base it on the content.

Here they are:

1 - "Mont Blanc" (the bartender)

2 - "The flu can be a killer too" (manualex)

3 - "Rough Stuff ftw (week4)" (Minicaxotinho)

4 - "Staying Strong" (ehbacon)

5 - "This week's song" (whywefight)

6 - "Nonameyet" (nico_9550)

7 - "Do You Know Me?" (sickman411)

8 - "Part II" (Faux)

9 - "Wait" (Joshua1207)

------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are last week's most voted songs, from "Joshua1207", "To End It (Damn)", and from "chev311e", "One Lonely Ride"!
------------------------------------------------------------------

Honorable mention:
This week's thread is dedicated to chookiecookie , the bestest most greatest person on UG (at noticing broken links).
Thanks chookie!

If you too want to become a better songwriter/gigolo consider joining our group (http://groups.ultimate-guitar.com/mozartfactory/), all the info you need to join this weekly "contest" is there.

The votes will be counted this Monday, at around 4AM GMT. I'll post here telling you when. The winner of this week's voting will become a mod in our group.

------------------
Here ya go mate, a video for you! Thanks for voting!

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Edit: The voting is over! This week's winner is sickman411 with the song "Do You Know Me?" with 7 votes!
(He'll be a mod on our group, until the next voting)

With 5 votes, "Rough Stuff ftw (week 4)" by Minicaxotinho (wow), and really close with 4 votes each were the songs "This week's song" by whywefight and "Wait" by Joshua1207!

Thank you all for voting (and participating)!

I'm going to pick this based on who I like the most [but I won't vote for an hour or two so my ID will be hidden]

I'm also going to join your group. I can get in on this.

seems like most of these have vocals and are not very heavy, musically.

i don't want to be the only one writing heavy metal

I'll vote after hearing everything again tomorrow; I need to refresh my memory of some of them.

Even though I'm more into metal, I like my song this week

I feel like everyone's getting better, hope this continues!

EDIT: Ok, I didn't self-vote... That feels really good! Thanks! (I hope you didn't misclick or vote thinking you were voting for another person )

I might eventually. My usual music is much different than what I've been doing for the contests

I usually write heavier stuff too (don't really write anything good but whatevs )

I would love to hear some heavier stuff, and besides, you can write in any genre you like. This is something you'd be doing for yourself (self-improvement/practice).

I used an empty 5 liter water bottle for week 2. Better than Lars Ulrich's pots and pans in "St. Anger" (?)

I've voted for Minicaxotinho because I love me some folk influences, though I have to say that Sickman has delivered a very strong composition as usual. Joshua's song would be absolutely perfect as a themesong for a spacey kids cartoon.

If you have a androd, perfect piano has a drum machine and a drum pad(in the first one you play the beat, the other you program the beat).

I used my old Casio CT-656 to drums in this week's one, but is hard to remember what key matches what drum...

The other option I cgould give you is Real Drum by rodrigo kolb, but in my phone it goes out of synch after you play three stuffs at the same time.

The plays on my songs on Soundcloud are also in that order (W1>W4>W2>W3). Though my song for week 1 has way more plays than the others. I think that's because it plays automatically after some of you guys' songs.
