Hey guys!

I had a question about the 'Tone Cable' that is bundled with Rocksmith 2014. How exactly does it work? Can it be used as a viable alternative home recording on guitar for PCs without a soundcard?

The tone cable is an audio interface, though I'm not sure there are drivers to use it with DAWs and such.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

I guess spambots are now capable of reading minds.

Nah, I tried it because I was curious. The latency was terrible because you couldn't use the cable itself as your audio device or interface (at least not in Ableton) so I had to use the MME/Directx onboard shit. No bueno.

Oh, now I checked, you can, you just need ASIO4ALL.
