G'day all, just wondering if anyone out there knows/trusts/can recommend someone that can repair my 8080 Valvestate. IM in Melbourne (Australia).

i am not an aussie, but i can tell you that one of those amps goes for ~300 USD. this would pretty much mean that by repairing the amp (if it can be repaired) you'd most likely being paying close to the value of the amp.

if money is an issue you may be best served by getting a new amp.

you are likely totaled. $50 bench free at a minimum, plus that for every hour, and $SS amp at a minimum. its a hybrid, means more components and more tme.
