I was reading some reviews of some marshall amps on here and I noticed that some off the amps have increased in price since the reviews that were before his death?

Example: I saw someone had bought a class 5 for £399 and when I checked the website he/she bought it from it was now £499-£599

No not that I have seen. The original JTM/JMP have went up in value but I think that has more to do with them being harder to come across these days.

That lower price may have been for a used amp. Not all reviews specify.

Any increase they may have had on amps seem to be normal and inline with everyone elses - adjusting to inflation and stuff.

Why? Are you looking for a new amp?

Amp prices just fluctuate, like most other items. Supply and demand, all that stuff.

*edit*

I bought my JVM at a time when, for some reason, 5 people were offering JVMs used on the local craigslist. As a result I snatched one up for a great deal. Now, only one on there for 400 euros more.
