ive been playing for nine years...that being said...never really got into how a guitar works so i will be the first to say that im a full blown idiot with the mechanics of it....

yes two single coils and a humbucker. If those are active pickups you will need 250k or 500k tone and volume pots if you're switching to passives.

250k and 500k are the resistance values of the controls. 250k means 250 000 ohms and 500k means 500 000 ohms (the "k" suffix means x1000). Active pickups and passive pickups require different values for the tone and volume controls.
