Hey UG Community! So I've been thinking of ways to broaden my music, so I took a step out of my comfort and I did this cover. I had a ton of fun doing it, and all your feedback would be great, and I'll gladly listen to your stuff too! Thanks a ton! and be honest

ok it works

i love the guitar work, how did you get/set the delay? the drums could be a little louder especially during the chorus, it's unfortunate cause it would make the cover better. But the vocals too are good, and so is the bass, it's good that it's audible throughout. I'm guessing you're focusing more on the singer guitarist than singer drummer thing, so the drums, in the end, aren't that much of an issue.

anyways, if you wanna check this https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1630004

ps: i'm digging the mad world cover too

I get the feeling it would be so much better if it was faster. I know this was your artistic direction or whatever, but you should experiment with going faster. Good otherwise

Dude F***king awesome man. Your voice fits the style you're trying to achieve very well. The only things I think could be better, is the distorted guitars in the chorus' could have more presence and perhaps a different tone they sound thin, that would bring more emotion to the chorus IMO, also the kick drum needs a bit more umph! I think with better mixing techniques (if available) this would be an even more b*tching track.

Nice cover! The vocals are definitely the highlight for me.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the lead electric tone and drum sounds. Are you recording live drums? Layering real drums with samples can give them a fuller sound if you have trouble getting a good sound straight from the mics.
