This may be the obvious question but have you tried lowering the gain on your amp? Higher it is messier the sound becomes and notes get merged together.

Lots of gain is good for black and oldschool deathmetal where there is supposed to be a wall of sound but for tight modern metalcore riffage you need surprisingly little.

I am assuming you already have an idea of muting techniques, using the tip of your finger to mute the string above of what is being played and your picking hand wrist mutes the rest when necessary.

That was actually informative video and propably spot on what problem TS has. I too have a habit of palm muting softly near the bridge because I liked the thick heavy sound it has when I was learning palm muting myself. But it also causes mess problems on faster riffs.

thanks for techniques,

so i tried to reduce gain and it sounds better but not so good in distortion and pressing not so soft

"wrist muting" is the same as muting with right hand palm like in sweep picking (i can't do it)?

because with fretting hand i couldn't mute with my tip if i play in 4th or so strings like this

|----------------------|------------------9---|
|---------------10-----|-----------10---------|
|----------10----------|-9---12------------- |
|-----12---------------|----------------------|
|----------------------|----------------------|
|-0-0----0----0----0---|---0-----0-----0------|

so i guess those palm mutes should be ringing instead mute them
