pretty much as the title says, trying to save cpu by not opening it up as vst for every track i record, i know i could bounce the tracks and then im prot them again but thats hassle especially when your in a little creative frenzy. im sure it can be done i just have no idea how.

thanks

Load up VST as effect, record wet for monitoring. Back up dry signal, bounce wet signal. Trying to do this without freezing is basically trying to have your cake and eat it.

Alternatively you can group all your guitar signals and use the same instance of the amp sim, if you want to use the same sound for all guitars.
