Two weeks ago I bought a new acoustic guitar and overall I'm very content with it. It's a Recording King RDJ-27-SN. It plays incredibly smooth and has a nice tone to it.

The only problem is that the first fret on the high E string is buzzing, and I think that is because the action is too low. This is the only fret that does this so it's not that much of an annoyance, but I'd like to fix it. So my question is, am I able to fix it myself relatively easy or should I take it back to the guitar store and let them fix it?

I'd take it back. If it's just the first fret, likely the nut slot is cut too low, and that's a more difficult fix than you'd think. They may have to install a new nut.

let the guitar store fix it or exchange the guitar if they have another one there that doesn't buzz.

I just looked in my Oxford English Dictionary and under "Acoustic Guitar", there was your Avatar and an email address!
