If you could create your dream band out of only dead musicians, who would be in it?

For me:

The Rev-Drums
Cliff Burton-Bass
Dimebag-Rhythm Guitar
Randy Rhodes-Lead Guitar
Layne Staley-Vocals
Some people just wanna watch the world burn. Wanna join me when I take my turn to pour the gas, light the match, see your world flip upside down and drop until it's inside out?

Lorn - Wubs
Eskmo - Wobs
Amon Tobin - tssbmbmwwrrrrrrrrRRRRrr
Jon Hopkins - Beeps
Machinedrum - Boops
Hecq - Yois

edit: oh dead musicians lol
I don't listen to any music by dead musicians cos music was invented c. 1999 and the musicians haven't had time to die yet.

Sid Vicious - Bass Guitar
John Bonham - Drums
Randy Rhoads - Lead Guitar
SRV - Rhythm guitar/backing vocals

Edit: switched kurt cobain for SRV. I'd imagine Randy and SRV elevating one another to another level with their diffent styles of solo. mixing metal with blues.

I don't care about your only dead musicians rule cos the ultimate band only has one dead musician.

James Hetfield: Rhythm guitar and vocals
Cliff Burton: Bass
Kirk Hammet: Lead Guitar
Lars Ulrich: Drums
R.I.P Dime: Guest guitar solos

Screw the dead musician's rule, I've created the ultimate band for bombastic, epic, overblown, orchestral rock music

John Farnham - lead vocals

Brian May - lead guitar, backing vocals

Tony Clarkin - rhythm guitar, backing vocals

Sting - bass, lead vocals, backing vocals

Roy Bittan - piano, keyboards

Roger Taylor - drums, backing vocals

Though 2 of these guys aren't dead, a barbershop men's choir consisting of Stevie Wonder, Louie Armstrong and Bill Cosby would be the coolest and possibly funniest thing ever.
With such great hits such as "Zoppity Bob World yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah" "Wonderful Zappity Zow" "Superstippidy bip bop" and "Isn't she Jello Pudding"

Unanswerable. Too many beasts per instrument.

Speaking of dream bands, a few months ago I had a dream that began with me sitting with some friends at a restaurant. After ordering, a coyote attacked and ate all of my friends. Then someone from the adjacent table punched the coyote, and we all ate it calmly and delicately with forks and knives. After the police left, I stood on the table singing "Dare To Be Stupid" in honor of my friends. This was memorable for being the most morbid yet hilarious dream ever.

I always liked Thurston Moore's idea of having Nirvana be Iggy Pop's backing band.

That would have been cool.
