On the come up we were listening to Grateful Dead and the music started passing through my bowel and out my arsehole as this violet stream of light. I shat music. It was beautiful.

I don't mean to sound like a judgmental twat like TS, but do you really think grime and dubstep are going be the best choices to convince someone who hates modern music that there's good stuff out there?

I mean, I'm not claiming that these tracks are objectively shit, but they're not really the best choices to ease someone into modern music.

EDIT: though I guess they are both very much modern British music scenes, so they're relevant in that way.
