269 and answered all questions correct.
I feel really stupid considering I'm an average college student in business school.

You read 22,873 words per minute.
That makes you 9,049% faster than the national average.

Beat that.

"If you maintained this reading speed, you could read
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling in 3 minutes"

(I didn't read I just guessed and got all 3 questions right on the first go, and it was a part of the wizard of oz which helped me in the questions xD)

Edit: made the test for realz now. 432 WPM

hey, a friend showed it to me earlier and i was feeling shitty about the 250 i got. this makes me feel better.

i don't like how they assume that older people must naturally read faster.

It turns out I read at about 230% the speed of most people, makes sense why I don't take as much from reading as others

208 WPM (8% slower) but I went back to re-read some of the bits because I knew there would be questions. Got 2/3 questions right even though I only really knew one. The other two I had no clue and guessed at random. After reading, I had no idea what the text was about; I couldn't summarise it if someone asked, so yeah I'm slow.

I couldn't imagine reading 1984 in one sitting like someone here said. I read the last 60 or so pages in one sitting and was really surprised at myself.

EDIT: I did it again not trying to understand it and got 270 WPM.

I got the comprehension questions right, but I have no idea what I read.

EDIT: 557 with the second attempt.

366. I'd consider myself a too slow reader (not necessarily slow, though). I say this because often I find myself taking in every letter of the word, even imagining typing it on the keyboard, then I realise I'm wasting time and make haste.
Not sure if a sig is a necessity.

I retook it with -10 hours of sleep and got 666 WPM 10/3 and my dad is the president

That's quite impressive

I just tried it again reading faster than I normally do: 783 WPM, 3/3, just realized I got less than 2 hours of sleep.

I took it again with different text and got 322.

Not that I expect to get too high a score, I never read. Reading fast is definitely a developed thing.

I read 296 words per minute and I could read War and Peace in 33 hours and 4 minutes.

but tbf there was football on in the background so I wasn't paying all my attention to the story.

EDIT: ok second attempt I got 363 words per minute and knocked that War and Peace thing down to 26 hours and 58 minutes

349 words per minute and 3/3 (which I wasn't expecting), but I was intentionally rushing. My problem is a high level of comprehension and abysmal retention, so reading something heavy and then coming back to it a few days later can wreak hell on me.

mkay tried again how am I supposed to get a reliable result from the same paragraph? got about 400 that time
they're coming to take me away
