I'm looking for a solid, V shaped piece of wood, preferably not too expensive. I want to change the pickups out and put Duncan JB/Jazz in it. So a guitar with Emg's wouldn't fit because then the holes are too big (haha holes) Does anyone know a good piece of wood shaped like a V where I can put those pickups in?

Emg pickups are bigger than Seymour Duncan pickups so the pickups would not fit

Interesting. I've never found that to be true. YMMV, of course.

Only when it comes to 7 string pickups.

6 string EMGs are regularly sized.

I mean a guitar with good wood

so you want a decent V to shove some oversized EMGs into?

epiphone makes one.
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.

Watch eBay for gutted Gibson Flying V's, you can score them for around $400 for the body and neck only.
