Affordable?
The joyo noise gate is affordable.
The mooer noise clamp isn't exaggerated in price.
The MXR smart gate and the ISP decimator are probably better though.

I've used an NS-2 for probably about 8 years now. It's never failed me, and I have no reason to switch to another. I recommend it, especially if you can find one used.
