I have a Jackson PS-3T with a Jackson JT-500 tremelo. It has a part that screws into the baseplate which will then allow the arm to screw into that part. The problem I am having is that when I screw the arm all the way in and then start to unscrew it the part starts unscrewing from the baseplate as well and it causes way too much free play in the arm. I'm not sure if there is a part that's missing or not but I think it might be just worth replacing the whole arm assembly.

I found this one online: http://bmusic.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_44_46_179&products_id=4478

Does anyone know if it will fit the JT500? From what I can tell the JT500 is exactly the same as a JT590 except some parts are made of cheaper materials. Also does anyone know any push-in arms that could be used? I'd rather one of those than a screw in.

have you tried the jackson charvel forum (jcf)? that'd be the place to ask, i imagine.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

I did sign up there but I am still waiting to be approved. It seems they have it so a person has to actually look at the registration and approve it manually

As for stewmac, that could be worth a shot but I vaguely remember that they charge way too much for shipping to Australia. I'll try that though, thanks.
