Just wondering If you look on the thomanns uk site gibson LP guitars and click on the write up on the guitar some say " made in the usa " and some of the guitars don't say it . Am i write in saying there are gibson guitars that are not made in the usa then?

Yup. Gibson is all American. Thats why they are so ove... errr... expensive. Epiphone is the Gibsons made in asia (mostly china) brand.

I think those just happened to not have it in the description. It will say "made in USA" on the back of the headstock along with the serial number.
