Recorded in the tombs of the dead, an entrance covered by fog and sulfurous mist. The swamps surrounding these tombs have preyed on many, but what lay beneath their depths is a world of occultist horror spewed forth from the bile of the wicked.

Our inevitable end awaits us, and to die we must enter...

Out Feb 21, 2014.

**Any Symptom talk is welcome**

Opulent Atrocity came out last year, listen to the murk and filth here:

If you're going to use the word "Katabasis," I'm going to hold you and your atmosphere to pretty high fukking standards.

Checking it out now and if I don't like it, I blame you Sevvy.
A heathen, conceivably
but not,

I hope,
I’m not ashamed to be white
Vi doede ikke... vi har aldri levd
Barbarism is the natural state of mankind
Civilization is unnatural

It is a whim of circumstance
an unenlightened one

I have faith in this band. I will take full responsibility on the part of this band, but will give them their due as I have today.

From Symptom's Opulent Atrocity,

Quote by The Hanging Gardener
Wretched spirits bleed
Through the walls
Reticent crepuscule
Embraces me
Incomprehensible
Divination
Propel the coil
Topiary
A circle drips as gossamer
Cobweb
Departe beyond only to dwell
Invoke
As revenant
Which cast this fate
Gardener

That cover reminds me of Uzumaki, if anyone's familiar with that manga. With that said, I'll check these guys out shortly.

This was appropriately killer. Keeping an eye on them. Oddly enough, with due note of the use of Katabasis, the music actually did have a descent feel to it. Dragging downward sensations are prevalent.

Viking fact no. 1: Viking helmets did not have horn.
Viking fact no. 2: Vikings tobogganed on their shields into battle.
Viking fact no. 3: Vikings drank mead.
Viking fact no. 4: One of your ancestors are likely to have been raped by a viking.

Yeah it's pretty good. Wasn't expecting them to hold up like I initially thought in all honesty, but it's still as good as I first heard it.

The Hanging Gardener still makes me ooze.

I've seen this band talked about before, but it was back when Opulent Atrocity came out and I wasn't really digging that album much. Caverns Of Katabasis is sounding much more promising.

dem riffz

Oh, and who did artwork? Like someone before said, it is very reminiscent of Uzumaki.
