sounds like a fuzz pedal, yeah. I'm sure someone who knows more about fuzzes than I do could tell you which exact one it is right of the bat.

have you tried doing a google (and/or forum) search? as well-known a song as that you could well come across someone else asking a similar question (or it might be listed on a guitar or pedal information site or something like that)
