I have some spare cables lying around, and am also in need of some custom length cables to sort my pedalboard out. Trouble is, these cables are also straight jack cables.

Would it be possible to cut up remade cables, take them to my required size and then put on some angled jacks? Or would I need a cable kit for that?

Absolutely, you should have no problem finding the parts to do this. The most expensive part is usually the cable itself.

Yup. It's pretty universal. 1 pin for center, 1 pin for shield.
