Whenever I want to die, I write the forgotten scriptures
that were spoken to me as a child.
When I was myself.
When nothing was my fault.

Whenever I want to die, I laugh just like the rest,
before tucking myself at night
just to embalm whatever is left.

Whenever I want to die, I digress
with my best friend
whom betrayed me instead.

Whenever I want to die, I am alone
like my astral.
this is stark, and rightfully so. it reads well. funny how something literal can often portray a bitter poignancy in a way that a flowering narrative cannot.

keep writing.
