First time I heard the Jump solo I thought man that keyboard part would be a bitch to play on guitar. I was so dam sure someone would do a cover on Youtube doing both guitar and keyboard parts.

I've looked a few times but no luck. Can it be done? I'd really like to see someone do it.

Of course it can be done, it's just notes played on another instrument. The same notes can be played on any instrument.

Keep in mind that he's just playing triads/arps and inversions more or less diatonic to the song, so if you know any theory at all, you can look at the chords in the song, and even if you don't PLAY keyboard you can still figure out the notes of those triads, and go from there.

The first is a F triad arpeggio played in first inversion: F/A in other words, followed by a G triad in first inversion, later another F is played in 2nd inversion. Have fun. This isn't hard if you understand theory

I don't think the keyboard is the hard part of that song. Do you mean playing both the keys AND guitar solo at the same time? Probably not possible.

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Didn't add the pull offs as that would've spazzed the tab layout out too much.
(you should be able to figure out where they naturally occur, sorry!)

At first it may feel a bit stretchy but over all it's pretty easy, just watch for those groups of 5's... in lines 5, 6 and 7!

Of course it can be done. But remember, the keyboard part is composed for keyboard so it will be easier to play on keyboard. But any instrument can play almost anything. Just figure out the notes played and learn to play it.
