Wassup

This first bit of text has become shorter and shorter since the previous threads, I need some "oomph".

The objective of this thread is to vote on the song you like the most, but remember: don't base your vote on the quality of the recording, base it on the content.

Here they are:

1 - "4th Shot" (nico_9550)

2 - "Arpeggio Strings" (manualex)

3 - "Solitude" (Joshua1207)

4 - "Reverse engineering the time-fridge (Improvised)" (SaintVitus)

5 - "I Have No Need" (sickman411)

6 - "Angels In Black And White" (FoOltz, whywefight)

------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's last week's most voted song, from FoOltz and whywefight, "Is This The End?"!
------------------------------------------------------------------

If you too want to become a better songwriter/gigolo consider joining our group (http://groups.ultimate-guitar.com/mozartfactory/), all the info you need to join this weekly "contest" is there.

The votes will be counted this Monday, at around 5AM GMT. The winner of this week's voting will become a mod in our group.

Dafuq is this? Freakin white people are real!

(They'll be mods on our group, until the next voting)

With 2 votes, "4th Shot" by nico_9550!
Finally with 0 votes, "Arpeggio Strings" by manualex and "Reverse engineering the time-fridge (Improvised)" by SaintVitus...

Thank you all for voting (and participating)!

hmmm...........

I have no need and Angels in Black and white were the only 2 that tried to be SONGS.... the others well i'm not going to say.

I vote "I have no need"
Only one I could listen to all the way through.
I'm definitely an ass hole for saying this but hey its from the heart.

reverse engineering the time fridge? That song is too deep for me man.

I voted for sickmans song, because it's so deliciously bowie-like experimental
You who build these altars now

To sacrifice these children
You must not do it anymore

I have a few good ideas lying around so I hope I can finally find some time to record that shit this week

Thanks cheesefries, bartender and Duaneclapdrix!

I voted for Joshua. Amazing atmosphere. It was nice to hear his stuff again.

WhyweFoOltz had a really great song too and it was hard to decide between the two.

He's one of my greatest influences but I really can't see an obvious similarity. Which, now that I think about it, kind of makes sense since it means that his style is somewhat ingrained in mine. And it was definitely a bit experimental; I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out.

EDIT: dat 3 way tie

some of them were trolling.

That's what I like about it, I can hear that it's been influenced by bowie but it's not trying to be bowie. It's really got its own identity.
