I'm planning on making a new 2x12 cabinet based on the mesa dual rectifier 2x12. I have never done this before but I think it should turn out well. I have woodworking experience and have wanted to make my own Cab for a while. I don't have a ton of money so I'll be using Jensen MOD 12-70 speakers and running it at a switchable 4 or 16 ohms. I'll be running it with an Orange Micro Terror or a modified Peavey Blazer combo (I modded it so it has a speaker out now) Let me know if you'd be interested and I'll make an album when I start. It should be within the next week or 2.

Yes. Mostly because I'm thinking about making my own 2x12 cabinet and would like to see as many examples as possible before I actually start.

I'm a straight man, but I'd put that surfcaster right in my mouth.

Well, life is like a penis.
Women make it hard.
Also, it's short but seems long when it gets hard.

Yes!

I'm also thinking of making one myself. I already own a Mesa 212, but I'd like to have a 2nd one, so I can run both my AC30H and JCA50H live.

Love to see it. This isn't something in my short-term plans, but it's always nice to know what's involved if I ever decide the head down this road. I really appreciate threads like this.

Yes, that would be cool. I have a Lonestar 1x12 in my house, perfect for that application but it's not loud enough for the garage.

Cool. As soon as I get the supplies I will start documenting. It'll obviously be lower on the budget end of things, but I'm still planning on doing it right.

the one i did a few years ago. solid cedar cab with 2 eminence 75w 8ohm 12's.
Front panel is High density fiberboard. Wiring is monstercable from a venue remodel.
Covering is a tweed chair upholstery. Input jack is from a strat.
The only things i paid for are the handle, rubber feet, and corners.

I am interested to see how it turns out. Can't wait to see it!
