I am having a grounding problem with my '05 Gibson les Paul standard. Has a hum even on the clean channel that stops when I touch the strings so it's gotta be grounding. I re-soldered the input ground but that didn't help. I opened up the back and the pots seem to be wired oddly. The guitar is 2nd hand so I don't know if it was modified or not. The green, white and red comes from the selector switch but I have no clue what the yellow wire is. It is spliced with the green and attached I the "terminal" where the ground from the jack is also attached. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
