So, I used wood glue to put a nut back in place on my old Washburn Dime...and probably way too much of it. This occurred several months ago. Unfortunately, the nut is too short, so the action is entirely too low and nothing to do with raising the bridge height or truss rod has made it playable. I would like to give this a more well thought-out shot. Does anyone know the best way for me to remove the nut?
Wood glue doesnt hold a nut in. You should be able to jut give it a tap with a screwdriver or mallet and it should come out. Wood glue wont bond to nuts.
to my limited knowledge the nut should pop off with a good tap regardless of the glue used
Well that was deceptively simple. I feel stupid. Thank you though.
