Hey guys it's time for me to buy a new amp in the $1000-2000 range
It doesn't matter if it's a head or combo
Preferably el34 or 84 tubes
Currently playing a Gibson Les Paul
Music styles are 70s classic rock(Led Zep, Cream etc) and 90s rock(Weezer, Radiohead)
I would like the amp to have enough head room to play over a drummer but still be usuable in my basement
I am in the Philadelphia area if there are any good amps on craigslist

Thx for helping me out guys
Any furthered questions ask down below vv

Have a look at Mesa. They've got you covered on the tube type you're looking for. The cool thing is, most of the Mesa Boogie amps will allow you to experiment with different power tube types, so you can change your tone.

Marshall 2204 or 2203
Marshall 2266 or 2466
Marshall JCM2000 DSL50 or DSL100
Carvin X100B
Laney GH50L or GH100L
Laney VH100R
Egnater Tweaker 40 or 88
Egnater Renegade (maybe, don't know much about this amp)

Pretty much anything that will do the old JMP/2203 tone will work. Lots of options, lots more than I can even think of off the top of my head right now.

EDIT:
Orange Rockerverb Mk.II
Blackstar Series One 50 or 100
Maybe Orange TH100 or OR100
Maybe Line 6 DT50

Every time I see a Marshall sound in that price range, I think Splawn. One of their lower gain offerings would cover what you want very nicely.
Gibson SG Standard
Gibson Les Paul Traditional
Cort Explorer
Squire Standard Strat rebuilt with Fender USA parts
Squire Tele
Krank 1980
Orange Tiny Terror
Traynor YCV 50 Blue
Peavey Vypyr 75

Will fly for food. Call me Dylan

Marshall DSL 2000
Laney VH100R
Splawn Quickrod or Competition
Krank 1980

I would say a JCM 800 2203 but its one of those amps I dont recommend for bedroom playing.

Mesa, any Marshall style boutique builder or an actual vintage Marshall head.

Mesa is the only amp you'll get a decent low volume tone with out of those three.
