DEAR PEOPLE FROM THE FUTURE WHO FOUND THIS THROUGH GOOGLE: It was a dirty pot, I had it replaced and sold it.

First off, I want to know because I'm wanting to remedy the issue then sell it and put the money towards a Blues Jr.(It ends up just being that much less I have to come up with elsewise.), I'm just not going to attempt selling it without sorting this problem out.

I switch to the drive channel and I go to adjust the channel's volume and I get a little buzz, fuzz and pop and then I have my volume. It only does that when I adjust the drive channel's volume. The clean channel works fine. All the other knobs are fine, just that one volume knob is giving me trouble.

What could the problem be and how would it be fixed and about how much would it cost?

EDIT: Of course, I turn it on and try it out and it stops doing it. It did it at first, but I after I cranked the volume up then rolled it back, it stopped... Still need to sort it out, though...

Bad pot, probably.
If it's soldered in a human way, substitute it.

Depending n your experience it will take 15 minutes to 1 hour or 2, and it will cost $0.50/1 for the pot.
Name's Luca.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

They have a mounting bracket like the HRD's I think, so you'll want an actual Fender replacement. You should be able to find one on ebay easily enough.
