Is there a way to edit or add dynamics and accents to individual hits when creating drums with ssd4? I'm doing some demos for my band's next release and my drummer does a lot of that stuff.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

I guess spambots are now capable of reading minds.

Where can I do that? I'm still really new to ssd4

In the MIDI piano roll of your DAW (recording program), where you enter the MIDI notes (or drum hits, in this sense) you want to be played.

I'm using pro tools express, and plotted everything by "notes". What would I do from there?

By 'notes' you mean the keys on the piano are down the side and you're entering notes on a grid? You should have an option in that window somewhere to change the velocity of any note in the grid. If you're unsure, look up how to change MIDI note velocity in your DAW with google/in the user manual.

Yeah exactly. I'll look it up! Thanks ! I'm still pretty new to pro tools, but I'm getting there.

on the left side of the instrument track, you'll notice a menu that most likely has "clips" as the default option, click it and search for velocity, you can then adjust each note.

Got it. There's a drop down menu for velocity, then you can drag the little slider up or down accordingly to change the dynamic per individual notes. Cake. Thanks guys!
