right now i am using a ernie ball extra slinky eletric guitar string which is 0.008 . i am planning to change it to the regular ones which are 0.010. when i change it will i have to adjust the rod inside the guitar?

you might.

to help keep original settings, you'll want to swap one string at a time.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.

Shouldn't require too much of a setup. Maybe some small adjustments.

Its a good idea to practice setting up guitars so you can do all of your own servicing. My local shop charges like 50 bucks for a setup so its good to know how to do yourself.

If you have a cheap guitar you don't really care about, practice on that. It will make you more confident in adjusting a more expensive instrument.

I reccomend you 0.9

The 8s are so light and the 10s are kinda strong, maybe you will end doing a long setup for a setting that doesnt allow you to bend properly...

Btw with 9s you womt have to do amy adjustment
Maybe just intonation (like always)
