You'll see Mesa Recs, Oranges, 5150s, ENGLs, etc. for that type of music. I have the JSX and between the 2, it'll easily do what you need.

Get a 5150 or 6505 if you can.


If those are absolutely your only two options, the JSX is far superior, IMO. Especially for what you want to do with it.

Make sure you get a good overdrive to boost it.
Spin 'round carousel when your horse isn't screwed in.

I'm partial to Laney and Fender.
but for you.Look at the Bands you like and see which is the most common amp that they seem to use, and try to buy one that is at least in that line of Amp.
Do you use a lot a channel changing or do you need boost? Maybe a single channel would work. Some amps have reverb.
I had both the Sunn Model T back in the 1970's and a Fender Sunn Model T that I sold 5 or 6 years ago simple because it didn't have reverb. I don't want a pedal, I want fender reverb.
But Laney reverb is decent also and my Laney vc50 has separate reverb control.

Here's a question. I've never even seen the new TI100 but the GH100TI is one of my favourite high gain amps. How similar are they?
