Ok so guys, I have a question (searchbarred for phone thread, couldn't find it)

If a number is deleted by the user and asks the company to delete it, can that number come up later on, but be in use by a different user? I accidently texted a number I know is deleted and the response was met with a few phone calls to my number and a text which involved calling me a "****tard" but the number as far as I was aware wasn't in existence anymore...

So, thoughts?

Pretty sure the phone company just re-assigns the number to a new customer.
