Hi all, inexperienced poster here so sorry if this is in the wrong place!
I just upgraded all electronics on my Epi Les Paul and I'm having a little trouble with the volume and tone. The parts I bought are CTS 500's and Orange drop 0.022 caps.
The bridge volume doesn't turn off completely when on 0 and the tone pots don't seem to have their full taper, it seems as if they go straight from 0-10. The neck volume seems to be the only properly functioning component!
I used 50's wiring from a diagram on the SD website

Any ideas what could be wrong? I'm pretty confident I've the wiring correct, would a faulty part cause this or have I just made a balls of the circuit? Kinda frustrating seeing as it took a good few hours on my day off to do the lot. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure all of your ground lugs are soldered to the top of the pots. that is usually what stops a pot from not turning off all the way.

Thanks for your reply, I had that done but still no luck getting it to work. If I can't figure it out today I might just take it to a tech to fix it up!
