Hey guys, been a while since I've recorded anything, so I decided to record a vocal cover of Atreyu's Right Side of the Bed. Check it out, and provide a link for C4C.

I'm not so clued up on harsh vocals but they sound good, I can help by saying that you should definitely focus on the note transitions in your clean vocals though. You hold notes well enough and hit them well enough on the most part, but you go off key a bit transitioning between notes and it's quite noticeable on the faster sung parts. Overall very good stuff however.

I'm mainly after critique on composition as I'm a little stuck on the first 2 tracks on my soundcloud, it's just converted to mp3 with an online tool from midi, so I know it sounds a bit shit production wise. I'd also like to know if the music sounds good in general, as I have little theory knowledge etc. etc.

One of my favourite songs and this is an awesome vocal cover dude. One or two timing things but they are very minor and only occurs once or twice. Overall a really good cover!

EDIT: The Disturbed Stricken cover is good too

Ugh, that Stricken cover was horrible. One of my best covers is this one: https://soundcloud.com/coreyculler/deer-dance

Hey man

Your scream vocals are right on, really good technique, and it fits well with the song. But I think that your clean vocals need a bit of work. It's really hard to be very good at both screaming and clean singing, i know, but a lot of people seem to care less about intonation and being on pitch. Overall it's good, but some notes you go just a little bit off key. Singing scales is a good exercise to practice note accuracy, if you don't already do it, it would be a great thing to do when you warm up your voice!

But overall, really good cover, keep it up!
