Me and some buddies are doing a cover band thing for fun/side cash and want to put together a great 60's rock and roll set that is DANCEABLE.

songs like:
  • Rock N Roll Music - Beatles
  • Johnny B Goode - Chuck Berry
  • I Saw Her Standing There - Beatles

As you can see, my imagination has stretched too far yet. Keep in mind any suggestions should be high enough in tempo to keep people on the dance floor and ideally would sound good with a *slightly* more modern edge (think the way Paul McCartney plays Beatles songs today with his live band versus the original album versions).

thanks in advance!

thanks for the suggestion, remencer17. that's probably a bit too late sixties/psychadelic for what we're going for.

I think that late 50's/early 60's rock n roll would be a better description.
