I own both a classic and an acoustic guitar, a Washburn C-10 and a Fender C-100 respectively.

The problem with the Washburn C-10 (classic: nylon strings) is that the high E string keeps making a weird sound. When I play it, it sounds like the same note an octave lower and slightly untuned. What can I do?

The problem with the Fender C-100 is that there is a small metal bar underneath the saddle. When I took the saddle the metal bar moved and now I cannot remember the original position. Any help here?

Got any pictures? We might be able to help you more if you do.

I'll go out on a limb and suggest maybe the bridge on the acoustic is chipped or worn down for the particular string.

For the fender though I'm not sure what this 'metal bar' is. Really need a picture for that one. tinypic.com is good and free to use.
