I changed the tubes in my HT-1 combo. I felt that JJs would make a difference and they did.

Update:

I replaced both valves in my ht1rh yesterday. Bought a revalve kit from www.watfordvalves.com and the difference is awesome!! The cleans are cleaner and i get a nice bit of overdrive when cranked. The od channel is cleaner and a hell of a lot less muddy. My cort x-2 has a Dimarzio D-Activator pick up in the next and being very high op and a very bassy pick up, made the amp sound very muddy. This is now much cleaner and i get much more range with the tone knob on this pup. Id recimmend this kit to anyone wanting to upgrade their ht1 head or combo
