Hi again!

Back from my hot air balloon trip, now I can make threads again. I also found out I can't be productive unless I vegetate at home all day, so...

It's Honorable mention tiem:
To: Everyone who can write a song after a long day of school/work/whatever

Yup, that's about it...
Oh, and you may notice I didn't submit a song this week either. That's because I still haven't found my "singing balls"...

The objective of this thread is to vote on the song you like the most, but remember: don't base your vote on the quality of the recording, base it on the content.

Here they are:

1 - "Perfect Safety" (the bartender)

2 - "Where the grass wont grow" (Faux)

3 - "Adrift" (nico_9550)

4 - "Easy To Understand" (sickman411, semiquaver)

5 - "Let It Fade" (FoOltz, whywefight, FlipComplex)

------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's last week's most voted song, from Skinny91, the song "Part 2 - Moonrise"!
------------------------------------------------------------------

If you too want to become a better songwriter/gigolo consider joining our group (http://groups.ultimate-guitar.com/mozartfactory/), all the info you need to join this weekly "contest" is there.

The votes will be counted this Monday. The winner of this week's voting will become a mod in our group.

This is inhhuman...

Edit: The voting is over! This week's winners are sickman411 and semiquaver, with the song "Easy To Understand" with 5 votes!
(They'll be mods on our group, until the next voting)

In second place, and the runner up, the bartender's song "Perfect Safety", with 4 votes! (one extra vote from chev311e, who got banned and couldn't vote on the poll)

Thank you all for voting (and participating)!

This.

And thanks Dylan and 3 unspecified people. (What's so weird about my voice though?)

Oh and I'll be voting later.

The only criticism I have is that it sounds like you're not using your voice enough, I think? Like you're shy

Idk

and by weird I don't mean bad, It's just weird. Reminds me of david bowie

Don't worry, I didn't take it to mean it was bad.

The shy thing might have something to do with the fact that I just did one take. The very first time I sang the song is the one that's on record. I also sound more like that in the first verse/chorus, I think. And I guess I sound like that naturally a bit too.

And any comparison to Bowie is well received

Also BTW, if you guys haven't seen the group page, the bartender gets an extra vote since chev311e's banned and can't vote in the poll.

Very good songs this week! Very few though :/ I ended up voting for the bartender's. Very catchy tune!

Thanks, bartender and Faux!

Ended up voting for wwf, FoOltz and Flip. Loved the vocal harmonies and the overall mood of the song.

I'll vote as soon as I can.

This is a valid excuse. Hope you're better now or will be soon

Yeah, I didn't submit a song this week either because I still haven't found the courage to sing (and I really want to submit this song before I make another one)
