So i was thinking about buying this amp (Laney Prism p65), is it good ? (I will use it in a band)... Is the amp good for live performances... in a small club or something, to do a gig ?

what's your budget and what type of tone(s) do you want?
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

I wouldn't, they're pretty rubbish. They lack any kind of mid-range and the models all sound flat and disgusting. Pretty much useless for anything in a band situation.

Budget, location, new/used and genres?

That's the advantage of being such a distance from Yianni. I can continue to live my life without fear of stumbling upon his dark terror.

-I have somewhere around 270 dollars... (laney is now on sale in my local music store, 35% off so i thought i might buy it... but it looks like it is not good lol)
-We play mostly punk, rock
-I would like to buy a new amp
-It is for gigs
-Now i have AXL standard 30...

Please leave a suggestion, also is the Laney Prism p65 worth buying when the price is 35% off ?

What's your location? That'll determine what we can recommend you. I would still avoid the Laney, even when it's discounted.

$270 won't get you much new. Scout around for a Vox VT50, you may have to go used. Why do you want to buy new out of curiosity?

And i need a new amp because when we practice i can hardly hear my guitar over the drums with my AXL standard 30. (also i will buy a used one i think)

Look for an used Vox Valvetronix, as Eppicurt suggested, or a Fender Mustang, Roland Cube or Peavey Vypyr.

Preferably with a 12" speaker; 10" at least.
