I recently started playing guitar about two months ago. I noticed this one song that I would really like to learn how to play, but for the chorus I need a bottleneck. I never knew this existed, but it makes for some awesome sounds.

My guitar is a Little Martin LX1E, and I want to know whether I can actually use a bottleneck with my guitar or not. I couldn't find any info whether it would be bad for my guitar, or if I actually need a special guitar for it or not. Could anyone help me out?

Thanks in advance!

A small hint. A glass slide is the easiest slide to learn with.
