I may sell it for money reasons..may trade for a hot rod deluxe and cash but..I have no idea...I just don't know how much I'll regret it later..I can get by without the money if I scrap or live a easier if I trade or sell..not sure even how special this amp is..it has. 15 watt blue celestion in it..

well I love the amp..buts it's mostly the speaker..didn't think I'd get a dick response..just didn't know if I should trade for a hot rod and cash to help me out or wait for money waters to ease..

"for money reasons" doesn't really adequately explain your situation.

If that's the case, no you should just sell it for cash and not get a hot rod.

You didn't actually post a question in the first post and IMO the blue would reduce the value if it's not factory spec. There is no question about the speaker. you just put 15 watt blue celestion in it... If you're trying to sell it to a UG member you should go to the gear ad thread and read the stickys in there.

ask a question and we can help you.

I guess my question (this was made by fender execs and I have their paperwork and 5 year warranty) but..I just want to know if a trade for a hot rod is worth it really...

The hot rods are nice little amps. IMO the Blues Deluxe Re-issue is the best of the bunch. If this is a rare amp however it might be worth holding on to it. I'd e-mail Fender or Fender dealers and see if you can get an appraisal.

thanks. supposedly only 100 were made..ha so that makes it harder to sell..so that's why weighing a cheaper amp vs holding on and money being tighter..

I gigged with a HRD for 5 years and it was a fine amp. Trade if you must but the Blue DR might be a keeper. Washing cars and mowing lawns might make that possible.
