I've used the v845 for almost a year now, and it's a nice little wah, but recently I started thinking of selling it to buy a v847. I listened to Kiss by Prince and that cool little wah solo really made me think. I want get a better wah that sounds funkier. A lot of people say that the v847 is smoother and overall better than the v845. The latter isn't bad it's really got an agressive tone, but it's not so fabulous on clean. So what do you guys think, should I buy the v847?

It's not a difference that big.

Go into a music store and try them.

And since you're at it try a morley...

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

Well if you compare the reviews of the two pedals here (or anywhere else), there seems to be quite a difference. I think I read somewhere that the v845 is a more cheaper model, while the v847 is like a reissue of the Clyde McCoy vox wah. I didn't see a v847 anywhere in my town stores, but it can probably be ordered from the store. That's why I need advice from people who have more experience with these than I.

And btw, I'm not a fan of Morleys but thanks for the reply anyway
