It would depend how much you are willing to change it. Both the lyrics and the music suit a more moody/ sad/ nostalgic song. So give a little more perspective on this. Also, how happy do you want it? Do you really want it to be happy or a bit more positive/ uplifting?

Dude I wouldn't bother, it's got quite a mellow soft prog rock vibe, particularly the bridge, don't change it to make it happy, it's good the way it is and I very rarely compliment original music on UG.

I think lyrics don't effect on if song is sad or happy, it's all about the music...

like "help" of the Beatles - it's an happy song, right?
