So right now I have an old strat body I'm using for a project. It's routed for a 6-screw vintage style trem. I would like to know if I could rerout it for this http://www.floydrose.com/catalog/tremolos/6:non-fine-tuner/original trem. I'd like to know if it is possible to rerout it? And if so, how would I go about rerouting it?
It looks like putting in posts is at least something you would have to do. Otherwise, never tried one before.
This is essentially what I did in my partscaster build. The body obviously previously had a standard six-screw trem on it but I just drilled the post holes and the new trem dropped right in - with a tiny bit of enlarging required on the cavity.
