Hey guys! Tell me everything you know about the Laney Ironheart IRT120. This is my first "real" amp so of you want to talk about biasing and fuses and mods, be ready to explain it good! Is it high gain and does ot have good bottom end tone?

If Killswitch Engage was using them to tour recently, I'd say they have very high gain and nice bottom end. Keep in mind that they use Maxon tubescreamers to boost the front end of any amp they use (with the pedal set to zero gain and full volume). The tone won't change drastically, but it compresses and tightens the low end response. Other than that, they can also do some nice modern rock sounds when you dial back on the gain and also sparkly clean tones.

Its a great amp I have the studio version. Although for a first "real amp" as you say you may not need or want the 120 watt version
