I just bought both the Black Winter and the Liquifire for my Jackson Soloist, will i run into any problems with combining the two given they're from different brands?

Their wires are coded differently. The Seymour Duncan website has a diagram which labels the wires of each manufacturers. Try it.

I don't think the brand difference will have too big an effect; however, the models do. The Black Winter is very bright, while the Liquifire is very warm. If you like that contrast, by all means it will work fine
