I'm using a peavey vypyr vip2. I'm using a boss microbr for recording. Since it it doesn not have an out I'm using the headphone jack and it sounds like total crap....any ideas how i can do this with better quality for recordings?

You can try mic'ing it. The BR has in built mics, they won't be particularly great but they're worth trying. An SM57 could be a good investment.

However, you're recording a practice amp into one of the most basic multitrackers out there, you can't expect brilliance. Chances are, if you want a significant increase in quality, you'll need a significant change in kit.
