I really don't know what the genre is for this. This is pretty different from what I usually do in terms of writing. This song took a long time to finish for some reason. Every couple days I would write a riff or two and in the past couple weeks this song evolved from something completely different altogether. Kind of a strange writing process since it normally takes me a couple days to write/record a song. Anyways tell me what you think, any kind of feedback would be helpful. And I will C4C as always (Although I've been getting a lot of people not returning the critique back to me ).

Anyways.. Thanks for the listen!

JDawg,
You can count on me because I always smooze with Martha Stewart's neighbors. Though the intro riffs are somewhat reminiscent of practicing scales (my only gripe), I think the hooks/riffs get better later on. Audio quality is good per usual. Drums are nice. Guitar playing is tight. Good guitar tones. I like it overall. Please review my music at this link:

Loving the intro. Reminds me of some radio rock but with a way better guitar tone. Your snare seems to take up a lot of space, though. Turn it down a bit maybe? And play with it's velocities! Could add a lot of improvement.

The lead when it comes in is AWESOME. The backing chords are really good as well. Do you listen to any J-rock? This sounds like an instrumental J-rock song almost.

1:38 is good. A nice change. Maybe break away from the constant streams of 8th notes? It's not horrible, but it gets a little tiring I think.

Nice change during the break. Maybe make a cut in the EQ somewhere on the lead guitar that it's less "scratchy"? I wanna say it's around 1.2kHz that the scratch lies. Not 100% on that. The solo is really good. Reminds me of someone but I'm not exactly sure who

Overall, I loved it. Almost right up my alley. If you haven't yet, you should check out a guy called "Sithu Aye". He's very similar but a little more metal.

I actually don't listen to much J-rock. I'm not sure what exactly qualifies as J-rock to be honest. I really like the band Melt-Banana but that's about it. I will check out Sithu Aye as well, thanks!
