Hey i've been playing guitar for nearly 2 or 3 years and i have recently got bored with playing simple songs and i've grown out of most of the songs that i know. So i watched this video and i'm really curious how to play this type of chord or power chord or whatever this is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHirL_deLWc ( most of it is between :30 and 1:10)It would definitely help re spark my interest. Any help you guys can give me is much appreciated, Thanks so much

That's an excerpt from a song called Breeze if that helps. Aside from that I'd say learn theory to try and get your head around those chords.

Looks to me like fairly straightforward rhythm playing with mostly "power" chords... Partial chord shapes meant to minimize feedback when playing at high distortion levels.
Should be plenty of information on site here.
