So a month or so ago I bought myself a Peavey 6505 head and love it. But if any of you have a 6505 also, you'll know the footswitch they send you is utter shit. So I was just wondering if I would be able to buy a different one that would work with it.

Any suggestions/advice would be awesome

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

I know your pain to the letter.

I replaced the old one with a Marshall MG footswitch. The buttons are labelled differently from what is on the Peavey, but the circuit inside of it is exactly the same.

The footswitches for the 6505 and the + are totally different. The one I have is extremely flimsy and just not high quality at all, not what you would expect to come with an amp that cost a grand
